An entertainment unit is somewhere for your TV to sit and any accessories to be stored neatly inside. They are usually shaped like a console or sideboard but much less tall. Units will often have a space for a DVD or blueray player and holes in the back for cables to come through.

They are commonly placed in the living room but can also be used in bedrooms, mancaves or any space with a television. Make sure to measure the size of your television and the space of the wall. A large sized TV can easily take up the entire space of a smaller sized unit, which may not be your intention. A common solution to this is to use a wall mounted television.
